A Statement From Our Quality Assurance Team

Lenox Laser’s metrology based processes and methodologies are based on scientifically proven analytical and empirical studies.

Lenox Laser, in collaboration with NIST, has successfully completed the calibration and certification study of one of our critical orifices which verified our procedural methodology. The results are available to our customers upon request.

All of the standards that Lenox Laser uses in its processes for measurement instrument calibration have traceability to NIST. All of our periodic operating procedures and the training of our technicians are formally documented. The measurement certificates that we provide to our customers contain all of the relevant information.

We are in the process of preparing for ISO 17025 at the direction of our CEO. Our ultimate goal is to bring company’s operations to a higher recognized standard. The main impediment of the final certification stage is predicated on the extensive expansion of our company’s facilities and the construction of a certifiable lab area within the new addition.

During the three decade history of our company we had successfully provided thousands of the certifications for the defense, medical, space, and pharmaceutical companies as well as universities worldwide. We have successfully completed detailed audits from Space-X and Bio-Rad, the latter of which was completed without a discrepancy.

Providing the best service available in the industry and academia is our goal, and we are constantly improving our R&D, production, and quality control.

Standard Apertures

Parts are produced from foil with thicknesses of 0.0005” – 0.002”. Parts have a looser listed tolerance than Optical and Calibrated Apertures. Apertures are optically measured on instruments that are calibrated with Lenox Laser traceable bar chart standards. No certification is included.

Optical Apertures

Parts are produced from thin foil (0.0005”). Parts have a tighter listed tolerance than the Standard Aperture. Apertures are optically measured on instruments that are calibrated with NIST traceable bar chart standards. No certification is included.

 

Calibrated Apertures with Certification

Parts are produced from thin foil (0.0005”). Parts have a tighter listed tolerance than the Standard Aperture. A certificate of calibration is included. Parts will be labeled with aperture size. Apertures are measured for concentricity, circularity, and diameter. Apertures components are optically measured on instruments that are calibrated with Lenox Laser traceable bar chart standards. Parts are traceable to Lenox Laser standards.

Standard Components

All standard orifice components are optically measured on instruments that are calibrated with Lenox Laser traceable bar chart standards. No certification is included.

Flow Calibrated Components

All flow calibrated components are measured on instruments that are calibrated with Lenox Laser traceable standards. The component’s packaging will be individually labeled with Part Description, Flow Direction, Flow Reading (SCCM, SLPM, TORR), size in microns, and date. Tolerances will be the same as listed. No certification is included.

Flow Calibrated Components with Certification

Any flow Validated component will be supplied with a Certificate of Validation report containing traceable standards used, test conditions, measurement results and inspection signoff.
